I wrote a song. Then things got complicated.
Words that come to a writer are never "just because".
First things first, If you don't know this song, you should.
It's called “1000 Loves” and I wrote it months ago. The headspace I was at the time was something in between: Remembering my old past love/relationships and trying to rebuild myself inside my current relationship.
It was messy and confusing, writing this song, but after all, words just come natural to me.After it was done - the lyric part - and I was able to read it through, I realized how chaotic this love song actually was, reflecting everything I've been through in all my past relationships.But raise your hand here the ones who got perfect, not chaotic and warm relationships all the time! (I know I didn't)
Suddenly I realized how many relationships I've been through and I started writing about them. Initially, just to journal through. But you know what they say about writers… It is never “just to put it out” - there's usually something hidden behind every intention of every word.
Furthermore, I understand how this whole creation process happens to me and I can tell you for sure - there's no accidents in my writing. There's never a “just because” - even though sometimes I claim there is (because I truly believe it).
So 1000 Loves rapidly started turning into a book, which rapidly - and due to other life circumstances - started leading me to writing novels (AGAIN! - but this is a topic for another post), which led me then to using AI to create this amazing short, epic, visual storytelling novel - rewriting the whole narrative of this Universe I've been creating - MayaVerse.
I Lost Bruce. So I Brought Him Back.
Who's Bruce? - You might be wondering…Bruce is the EPIC character I was writing into a novel series eons ago. Bruce was the exact kind of “trouble” all the girls wanted to bump into: Tall, dark brown hair, deep almond eyes, always wearing his confidence and leather jacket as trademarks. Bruce was both the bad boy of the story and the seductive warrior that the main character - and all her friends - were falling for.
The thing is that, this book was left unfinished, and so it will remain.Because cloud drive wasn't really a thing in the early 2000's, I used to keep all my book files in my hard drive and sometimes pendrive (remember those?! lol) and they got lost with time.
For this reason, I decided to bring Bruce back to the scene os 1000 Loves, alongside Samantha (let's talk about her some other time, she deserves the spotlight!).
And Then I Accidentally Built a Universe.
Rather than “just writing a book” that was named after the song also written by me, I decided to put things together and create this “thing” that I like to call “Music Reimagined” - where you can literally either enter the song by listening/reading the stories on a 3D format, or you can enter it by listening to the song and getting curious enough in the “1000 stories” that were developed because of this song.
Honestly, not even I know exactly what's coming next, as the story and the Universe are both revealing themselves to me little by little.
